2 Purpose of the Policy

This admission policy outlines the standards, procedures and requirements for enrollment into all programs offered at the Ibadan College of Natural Medicine. It ensures fairness, transparency and equal access to quality natural medicine education for learners worldwide.

ICNM is committed to providing accessible, flexible and evidence-based natural medicine training. Our fully online learning model allows students to study from any location while maintaining academic quality and professional integrity. We welcome applicants from diverse academic and professional backgrounds who demonstrate a genuine interest in natural health, herbal medicine, and integrative wellness.

4 General Admission Requirements

All applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:

Completed online application form

Valid government-issued ID

One recent passport photograph

Minimum of secondary school completion (or equivalent)

Functional email address and mobile phone number

Ability to use a computer or smartphone for online learning

Payment of the required application fee

5 Program-Specific Requirements

Some programs may require additional qualifications:

Diploma Programs

Secondary school education or equivalent

No prior natural medicine training required

Advanced Practitioner Certifications

Prior training in natural health, nutrition, medicine, nursing, biology, physiology, or related fields

OR relevant industry experience (clinic, wellness practice, herbal business, etc.)

Professional Courses & Short Courses

Open to all applicants interested in natural medicine

No academic prerequisites unless stated otherwise

Admission Procedure

Applicants complete the online form through the ICNM admissions portal and upload required documents.
The non-refundable application fee must be paid before the application is processed.
The admissions team reviews all submissions for accuracy, completeness and eligibility.
Successful applicants receive an admission offer letter through email and their student portal.
Students secure their spot by paying their tuition or first installment and receiving access to the online classroom.

Students who have completed related courses from another institution may request credit transfer. All approvals are at the discretion of the Academic Board.
Admitted students may request to defer their admission for one academic session. Deferral requests must be submitted before the start of classes.
